What Bidwise Bureau is
Bidwise Bureau is a procurement-intelligence and bid-services practice for service firms. It does two things: it monitors official tender sources in the United States, Canada, the European Union and Australia and organises what it finds into searchable intelligence and free decision tools; and it provides fixed-scope bid services — compliance matrices, bid/no-bid reviews, red-team reviews and full proposal support — for firms working on live tenders. Services are ordered and delivered by email. There are no sales calls, and there is never a success fee or a percentage of an award.
The four sources we monitor
The current index holds — records from the latest scan (date unavailable), of which — are effectively open. The sources, and their limits, are stated plainly:
- United States — SAM.gov. Federal contract opportunities: solicitations, combined synopsis/solicitations, sources sought, presolicitations and amendments. State, county and municipal procurement and grants are excluded.
- Canada — CanadaBuys. Federal tender notices from the Government of Canada's official feed. Provincial, territorial and municipal procurement is excluded.
- European Union — TED. Notices published in Tenders Electronic Daily from all EU member states — generally contracts above the EU thresholds. Below-threshold contracts published only on national or regional portals are excluded, and notices are listed in their original language.
- Australia — AusTender (partial). Federal contract notices (awards), used for incumbent and recompete intelligence. Live approaches to market are not published in AusTender's official data feed, so Australia is labelled partial for exactly that reason.
The full coverage statement, including what each source excludes, is on the coverage page.
How scans and verification work
Scanners check the four sources daily, and scanner diagnostics — the last successful sync per source and any feed errors — are checked with them; if a feed fails, we say so rather than quietly going stale. Whether a tender is open is computed from its closing date at the moment you view it, so a record whose deadline has passed is shown as closed even between scans. A listing is a discovery aid, not a guarantee: it does not confirm eligibility, completeness or outcome, and every listing links to the original notice so the facts can be verified at source before anyone relies on them.
The service model
Prices are published and fixed before work starts. The compliance matrix + bid/no-bid review is $149 — one solicitation, up to 60 requirements, 50 source pages and 3 amendments, one clarification round, delivered within two business days of completed intake — and the full $149 is credited toward a full proposal package on the same tender when ordered within 14 days. A red-team review of a near-final draft is $299; full proposal packages start from $950; an outsourced bid department starts from $2,000 a month. Alongside the services sit a free Monday Brief, Bidwise Pro (a daily tender digest) and research workbooks in the data store. Payment is by Payoneer payment request only, and work begins after the payment has been verified as cleared — never on a checkout redirect.
How the work is produced
Work is prepared with AI assistance and reviewed by a person before delivery: source references are spot-checked against the documents, classifications are challenged, and any unresolved item is flagged rather than smoothed over. Client material is used only for that engagement and is not used to train models; handling options, including excluding AI processing, can be agreed at intake. The full process is published on the methodology page. A review covers the approved document set only — it is not legal, cost-accounting, price-certification or eligibility advice, and deadlines and requirements must always be verified on the official notice before submission.
