What bid management actually covers

Finding tenders is the visible part. Managing them is the work that decides whether any of them turn into compliant, on-time proposals: watching the right sources, qualifying each notice against your capability facts, tracking amendments and deadlines as they move, keeping the compliance picture straight across every live bid, and coordinating who writes what by when. Done in-house, that is a department. Bidwise runs it as a service, in four standing functions:

  • Monitor & qualify. Monthly bid research and opportunity monitoring across SAM.gov, CanadaBuys, TED and AusTender, with every candidate qualified against your capability facts — not forwarded raw.
  • Triage. A weekly pursue / watch / drop decision on each qualified tender, with the reasons recorded — so effort concentrates on the bids that can be won.
  • Manage & coordinate. Bid pipeline management, compliance management, proposal coordination and bid calendar management across everything in flight at once.
  • Report. Regular management reporting on the pipeline: what is live, what is closing, what was dropped and why.

Way one: the outsourced bid department

The standing form is the Outsourced Bid Department, from $2,000 a month. Markets, sectors, volume and deliverables are agreed in a written monthly scope before the month starts; support runs month to month, and scope changes are agreed in writing before they take effect. The scope includes compliance matrices for the tenders you pursue and drafting capacity for your priority bids. Service levels are defined in writing at intake — we never promise unlimited work, guaranteed wins, guaranteed eligibility or guaranteed awards.

Way two: a full proposal package, per tender

When one tender matters on its own, a full proposal package starts from $950: a compliance-first outline mapped to Sections L & M (or the local equivalent), the technical and management narrative built from your delivery evidence, past-performance formatting and relevance framing, and an internal compliance check against the matrix before delivery. One thing stays yours, deliberately: submission. You submit under your own registrations and certifications — we deliver a submission-ready draft, and the bid goes in under your name, as it should.

The desk it runs on

Either way, the work is visible in your own account. Saved tenders become Active Bids in the Command Centre, each carrying its real closing date; every bid has a document checklist with a single named owner — you; a deadline panel flags what closes within seven days, and the bid calendar exports to .ics for your own calendar app. Analyses, orders and saved searches sit in the same place, so the state of a bid is never a matter of digging through email. A free account is enough to run your side of it.

Where it usually starts

Most engagements start smaller. The compliance matrix + bid/no-bid review ($149) proves the working relationship on one live tender — and the full $149 is credited toward a full proposal package on the same tender when ordered within 14 days. A near-final draft you wrote yourselves can enter through the red-team review ($299) instead. Judge the output first in the sample work, and see how a review is built.

The terms, plainly

Everything runs by email, in writing. Prices are published on the pricing page and fixed before work starts; payment is by Payoneer payment request, and work begins after the payment has been verified as cleared. There is no success fee and no percentage of an award, on any service, ever. Companion page: federal contracting for small business.
